I HAVE HAD AIDS 30 YEARS NOW! FROM ALABAMA

I HAVE TO LIVE IN ANOTHER STATE WHERE MY FAMILY CANNOT WATCH OVER ME WHEN I GET SICK THESE DAYS! THIS BECAUSE IF I MOVED TO ALABAMA I WOULD BE STEPPING BACK INTO THE 1990'S QUALITY OF SERVICES. IVE BEEN IN CONTACT WITH OTHER ALABAMINS LIVING WITH AIDS AND THEY SAY SAMETHING! THEY HEAR OF DOCTORS STILL DISCRIMINATING & WILL NOT TREAT HIV PATIENTS OR WILL NOT FOLLOW UP WITH THEM TO POINT THESE PATIENTS SUFFER! I DON'T MEAN TO TALK BAD BUT THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR YEARS PEOPLE IVE KNOWN WHO HAVE LIVED THERE TO HAVE HAD TO MOVE TO GET QUALITY CARE BECAUSE SERVICES THAT WERE NOT UP TO OTHER CITY STANDARDS. I JUST WANT MORE DONE IN RURAL AREAS! STOP WITH THIS HIV MOBILE UNITS & SATELITE CLINICS THAT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR SOMEONE THAT IS SUFFERING FROM AIDS! IT HAS TO CHANGE ITS AN EMBARRASSMENT TO AMERICA! YOU HAVE TO HAVE LIVED WITH AIDS SERVICES IN BIG CITIES LIKE I HAVE AND LIVE IN SMALL TOWNS IN RURAL ALABAMA TO BE ABLE TO SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE, GIVE ME SOME RESPECT I WAS IN THE FIRST CASES IN ALABAMA TO TEST HIV. IVE LIVED THROUGH DISCRIMATION IN WAYS YOU READ ABOUT IN HISTORY BOOKS, THROWN OUT INTO THE STREETS CAUSE I TESTED HIV IN BIRMINGHAM AL.    THEN  9 YEARS AGO WHERE I WAS TREATED LIKE I HAD AN AIRBORNE PLAGUE IN SOUTHEAST ALABAMA HOSPITAL I WAS FORCED PHYSICALLY INTO A CONTAMINATION ROOM IT SCARED ME SO BAD I RAN TO ATLANTA GA OUT OF FEAR OF WHAT IT IS LIKE IN ALABAMA FOR HIV PEOPLE. I JUST WANNA COME HOME TO ALABAMA & HAVE QUALITY OF HIV SERVICES I GET HERE IN ATLANTA GA BUT IN MY HOME STATE!    ALABAMA GOVERNOR & SENATORS PLEASE HELP FUND MORE THOROUGH SOCIAL SERVICES FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH HIV AIDS & TERMINAL DISEASES!                     ASK ME QUESTIONS I WILL ANSWER YOU EMAIL @ SUNINMYEYE@GMAIL.COM

TRUCKCHASERS

My names ''Joe" I was born and raised in Alabama in backwoods small town. I am 50 yrs old now with plenty mileage under my belt. I have blond & grey hair now with piercing blue eyes I wear stache & goatee with sideburns for my disguise to look straight even though I'm bisexual & i date women. i grew up around uncles who like to play with kids if you know what i mean "wink" so since I've gotten older i haven't lost my taste in rugged married men or straight acting cross country truck drivers.  They call my type "truck chasers" men who like to service male truckers at rest areas, truck stops and all night dinners usually on an exit off the highways & byways! I know its 2012 but i love the feeling of busting one with hot masculine men who probably got a long haul across country & needing relief in the form i offer "hint HINT" smiling to myself cause many hot memories passing from over the years give me a rush! I don't care?
TRUCK CHASERS; give bj's,anal taking or giving, & allots more some will wear women's clothes to help the hot truckers out! Because we are service providers just like most hospitality services. I have had some really hot daddies over the years. A few were regulars. Some would bring me thank you gifts as though i was their wives helping them out on those lonely over road trips... Over the years things have changed some cause of the Internet, they set up meets with you on sex sites at truck stops they will be near, that maybe near you they are eager cause the tension is built up & they wanna bust several with several men. transsexuals women working the places they frequent. I love the feeling of anticipating some new strange meat that i can conquer it give me rushes like doing poppers! They love natural if you know what i mean? Not using a rubber is the best feeling being in a truck bent over having hot unsafe sex reminds me of the 80's not having a care just getting some hot sex with nameless strangers several times a night.

SAY IT & DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT , LOTS OF LIP SERVICE!

Pres. Bill Clinton:

The next biggest problem we have with AIDS is in the American South, where I'm sad to say since it's my home region, there's still too much stigma. Stigma against men who have sex with men, against sex workers, against people who are drug users, where this is not treated enough like a public health problem.

And that, plus the poverty, plus the disproportionately high percentage of people in our country, in the South, who live in rural areas and therefore have some of the same access problems that people in Africa and Southeast Asia and other places, have created a big problem for us.

-- President Bill Clinton addressing the closing plenary session of the 2012 International AIDS Conference in Washington, DC                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   ALL THE MONEY IN THE SOUTH FOR HIV AIDS SERVICES GOES INTO SOMEONES POCKETS, INSTEAD OF HELPING POOR IN SOUTHERN RURAL TOWNS ..I MOVED TO ATLANTA,GA AWAY FROM FAMILY BECAUSE I COULDN'T GET CARE FOR ME A 30 YR AIDS SURVIVOR & I WOULD LOVE TO LIVE CLOSER TO THEM BUT IF I DID I WOULD LOSE CRITICAL SERVICES A LONGTERM SURVIVOR NEEDS. MANY DOCTORS DISCRIMINATE IN THE NORTHERN, NORTHEASTERN, SOUTHEASTERN PARTS OF ALABAMA,MISSISSIPPI,LOUISIANA,TENNESSEE, AND MANY MORE AREAS. PEOPLE HAVE TO DRIVES 100'S OF MILES TO GET SUBPAR CARE IN THESE AREAS OR BE SUBJECTED TO 3RD WORLD MOBILE SATELITE CLINICS WHILE BIG CITIES GET ALL SERVICES THEY NEED & ABUSE THE SYSTEM. WHEN YOU GOING TO GET OF YOUR ARSES & CHANGE THIS AMERICA ? STOP SENDING ALL THE MONEY OVERSEAS HELP YOUR OWN FOR A CHANGE & DO MORE OVERSIGHT WITH THE CROOKED PEOPLE IN AIDS SERVICES STEALING AND OVER PAYING THEMSELVES INSTEAD OF PUTTING FUNDS INTO SERVICES! LET OUR PEOPLE HAVE SOME DIGNITY THEIR LAST FEW YEARS ON THIS EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!

WHERE HAS THE SERVICES GONE IN RURAL SOUTHERN USA?

I was born and raised in Alabama. I get to visit over their from Atlanta,Ga couple times a year. When their i observe how people still struggle for medical care period not to mention specialized #HIV care you have to drive 100 miles to receive an that is sub-par by inner city standards! They seem more worried about roads in Alabama Mississippi Tennessee Louisiana and North panhandle of Florida! When did the quality of life become second or third to a road? I think its the country Good ole Boys way of thinking #HIV #AIDS is a gay disease when it is becoming more epidemic of Women now! Guess it has to be one of their family members before they provide funding for programs for HIV AIDS Services. I say this is outrage against human rights in America to have equal quality care as all do in inner cities and northern states. Americans have to decide do we eat or pay for medicine? This is a travesty that the government fat boys are doing this to our country! Does it not piss you off? Well it needs to change & we the people have to force this change! Tell them lets not fix this bumpy road this year lets help someone get medical services and social service living with HIV AIDS! OK  Just keep TWEETING on TWITTER until they hear us!

A WORD FROM ME A POZ PERSON!

You can't catch #HIV by saying the #WORD ! But you can if you practice #RISKY behaviors!

Talking about HIV can be hard.

When you find out you have HIV, it is very important to find people who will support and encourage you. Your healthcare provider (usually a doctor or nurse practitioner), partner, husband or wife, parents, brothers, sisters, children, and friends are all good choices. But reaching out to others can be hard. You may feel angry, ashamed, or afraid. You may be unsure if you should tell other people. Or maybe you want to tell them, but you don’t know how.                                                                                                                               Having a support system is very important. It can help you have a positive outlook and lead a healthier life with HIV. Patients who have the support of family and friends may be healthier longer than those who do not.

A Bachelor of Arts Degree in HIV-AIDS: A self-Educational Guide

A Bachelor of Arts Degree in HIV-AIDS is a complete guide for people living with HIV-AIDS. This Self-Educational Guide is the easy way to learn and get all of the facts about HIV-AIDS from A-Z. under one cover. Today, People are living longer, healthier HIV-positive lives because of the progress done in research and the many Antiretroviral medications that are now available and approved by the Federal Drug Administration (FDA). There is a small group of HIV patients who develop AIDS very slowly, or never at all. This book was written so that, you too, may be one of them. This book tells you everything you need to know from prevention to cure.
Whether HIV-AIDS has been around for 30 years or 100 years, the reality is that it is still a threat, now more than ever, and it appears not to be going away for some time to come. Approximately 5,000,000 people are affected Worldwide with HIV of which 1,200,000 are Americans. HIV is not the only incurable, terminal disease out there because Hepatitis C has joined it's rank, and it is estimated that 1-9 African American males between the ages of 40-49 are infected with Hepatitis C which can be transmitted by oral, anal, or vaginal sex. This disease can be treated with medications for a long period, but eventually, it kills by cirrhosis of the liver, kidney failure, or Pancreatic cancer. Both of these terminal diseases are discussed in this Guide, extensively, because, ultimately, anyone who has tested positive for HIV, and who has, also, contracted Hepatitis C is, immediately, diagnosed with Full-Blown AIDS. You are Greater than AIDS because it is preventable.

SOUTHERN & FINDING OUT IM #HIV

IF YOU ARE DIAGNOSED WITH HIV?  IT CAN FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE LOST A FRIEND OR A FAMILY MEMBER!  WHEN I WAS DIAGNOSED 30 YEARS AGO I REMEMBER CRYING & MY HEART HURT SO BAD! I FELT I HAD LOST EVERYTHING; LIFE,LOVE,HAPPINESS,BODY & SOUL .. I WAS LUCKY I HAD A LADY WITH ME THAT LET ME CRY ALL DAY ON AND OFF UNTIL I SLOWED DOWN BUT MY HEART HURT FELT BROKEN LIKE I HAD HAD A HEART ATTACK!  WHEN WE ARE DIAGNOSED WITH ANY LIFE CHANGING DISEASE WE ALWAYS FEEL A LOSS. I WAS SO LUCKY I HAD JUST GOTTEN SOBER  & CLEAN! BUT MOST ARE NOT AT THIS STAGE WHEN THEY FIND OUT THEIR HIV STATUS . SOME ARE NOT THINKING WITH COPING SKILLS , ITS MORE LIKE THEY THINK THEY ARE THINKING HOW CAN I NUMB THE PAIN OR FORGET THIS TRAUMATIC EVENT WITH GETTING DRUNK OR HIGH! BUT ONCE YOU GET PAST THIS YOU SEE YOUR STILL HERE & STILL HIV. SO YOU ASK WHAT DO I DO NOW? WHICH DIRECTION DO I GO WITH MY LIFE DO I JUST GO AHEAD AND DIE OR SHOULD I LIVE AND FIGHT? HOW ARE PEOPLE GOING TO TREAT ME? CAN PEOPLE TELL I HAVE HIV? DO I TELL MY FAMILY? MY PARTNER IF I HAVE ONE? AM I A FILTHY PERSON? HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO LIVE? I STILL HAVE TO WORK! WILL THE MEDS WORK FOR ME? WILL THEY MAKE ME SICK? WILL I BE LOVED EVER AGAIN? NO ONE WILL WANT ME! WILL I BE ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN? ……                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             WELL IT CAN HURT A ALLOTS! WHEN I HAD GOTTEN PAST MY FIRST STAGE OF NEWLY DIAGNOSES , I ASKED WHAT NOW? WELL FOR ME I WENT THROUGH UPS & DOWNS UPS & DOWNS OF MORNING LOSS LIKE I HAD LOST MY BEST FRIEND! THAT LASTED 6 MONTHS THEN I JUST WOKE UP LIKE IT WAS BRIGHT AND SUNNY ONE DAY! I THOUGHT TO MYSELF WHAT DO I DO NOW? ONE THOUGHT CAME TO MY MIND I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING I WANTED TO DO! BUT SOBER & CLEAN…DO YOU KNOW THE "SAYING STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES" CAME TO MIND. I STARTED SEEING THE WORLD IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT. THE SUN WAS BEAUTIFUL, THE SKY WAS BLUE THAN I REMEMBERED, SUNRISES I THOUGHT WERE SHOWING OFF JUST FOR ME! GREEN LEAVES SEEMED GREENER! WOW, HAD THEY ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THIS? BUT REMEMBER I WAS REALISTIC TO BEING NEW IN RECOVERY. HAD TO KEEP FROM SETTING ON A WOBBLY PEDESTAL & NOT FALLING BACK INTO DRUGS & ALC USE AGAIN. NOT TO SAY I TRIPPED LIKE 2 TIMES BUT THEN I'M LIKE I GOTTA LOVE THIS BODY OF MINE! I HAVE TO NOT MAKE HIV MAD. BECAUSE I FELT IT WAS A BEING LIVING IN ME COHABITATION, SO WE HAD TO GET ALONG IF I DID ANYTHING “HIV” WOULD GET UPSET THEN I WOULD PAY FOR IT BY GETTING SICK…………                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        GRATITUDE, BECAME A HUGE WORD IN MY VOCABULARY. FIRST I HAD TO ASK MYSELF WHAT AM I GRATEFUL FOR? HERE I AM AN ADDICT IN RECOVERY, I HAVE THE TERRIBLE “BUG” “HIV” BIG QUESTION WHAT NOW?        THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING OF MY STORY I WILL GO BACK & FORTH BECAUSE MY MEMORY ISN’T LIKE IT USE TO BE, HOPE YOU STICK WITH MY ON THIS JOURNEY. ASK ME QUESTIONS I AM HERE TO PASS ON HOPE FOR ALL OF YOU NEW OR OLD TIME POZ PEEPS!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             TOM THE POZ  LONG-TERM SURVIVOR.                         " IT'S NOT OVER "
